Stratum & VIAS
We took Nigeria's existing 11.4M-record birth registry — exactly where it lived — and built an intelligence layer on top of it, turning weeks of manual reporting into seconds without ever exposing a citizen's personal data.
Nigeria's national birth registry holds over 11.4 million records across all 37 states and 775 local government areas — a goldmine of insight that nobody could safely use. Compiling the vital-statistics reports states actually need took weeks of manual assembly, and opening the database to analysts risked exposing the personal details of millions of citizens.
We built a secure intelligence layer on top of the registry as it stood. It answers analysts' questions in plain language and turns them into clear charts and reports — automatically removing every piece of personal information before a query ever runs. Each state office sees only its own data, and an automated scheduler compiles and emails co-branded performance reports to state directors on its own.
We didn't move or rebuild the national database. Stratum & VIAS sit on top of it: officials ask questions in plain language, get clear charts and reports back, and have branded performance reports delivered to every state on a schedule — while every citizen's personal record stays sealed.
